Starting next Saturday night (2/28), this previously mentioned sweetheart of an apartment will be sitting empty, thanks in no small part to my being a bonehead about trusting people (edit: should say, not people from DSLJ, people from CL...) as things were prepared to be put into writing. An expensive lesson.

Do you need a 1 br + office, heat and hot water included, 550 sq ft apt anytime between March 1 and April 1, with prorated rent for March and rent negotiable for March, April, and May?

Our rent is $1295 per month; if you're serious about moving for March or April, make us an offer. We'd prefer to help our lanlord out by finding someone who can sign a lease for June 1 at his new rate, $1325 a month, but all serious offers to get us off our lease will be entertained at this point.
