Dear Hodgkins-Curtin Park Community,

Mayor Joseph A. Curtatone and Ward 7 Alderman Robert Trane invite all interested residents and stakeholders to attend a Community Meeting to discuss the renovation plans for Hodgkins-Curtin Park on Monday, March 2, 2009. The meeting will include discussion of the design process, and presentation of the preferred design for the park by Weston & Sampson, the Hodgkins-Curtin Park landscape architects.

The meeting will take place on March 2 at 6:30 p.m. in the Senior Center meeting room in the TAB Building, 167 Holland Street. It is free and open to the public. All are welcome; children and teens in particular are encouraged to attend.

my best guess is that the op defaulted to truncating a personal email address when posting to a public site, however the email does say to essentially pass along the address to whoever, and they keep the phone number included as well. [and i'm sure this email is more or less public knowledge.] very odd. or perhaps they intended to spell it out, which some believes keeps spambots from picking up the address.

I was reposting this from a message on the SomervilleMoms mailing list on Yahoo; I should have probably mentioned that in my post. The address was like this in the original forwarded message that I recieved...

How strange that she would have deleted her address there. When she sent to the ResiStat Ward 6 list she used her full address.

I think that perhaps the person who forwarded the email (it was not Ellen) may have deleted it. Perhaps to avoid spam? I'm just guessing, though...

Everyone please come! This is (probably) the final chance to give our input on the design.

Also, we want to strongly encourage the city to get it done faster than the whole summer. We need our playground! Please come and be supportive.
