I'm going to leave this post alone, but in general I don't think it's a good idea to post Harvard Square or Harvard University events in davis_square unless a Davis-area resident is participating actively in them. (And if so, please mention your participation in the post.)

If every Harvard event is posted here, it will flood out all other traffic.

I apologize, Ron, and I take your point about Harvard events.

To clarify: I am a (minor) performer in this production. I used to live close to Davis Square, although I have since moved to a different part of town, so I think of it one of my hang-outs. I have been lurking on this comm for a while but have never commented, so it did not occur to me that anyone would know or care who I am or whether I was involved in the show.

I should mention that no one on staff asked me to post here -- this was just me being excited about opening night and getting a little carried away, so if anyone was annoyed by this post, please blame me and not Lowell House Opera or Harvard. :-)

If you live or hang out in Davis, and you're part of this production, it's all good.

I'm just trying to stave off the possibility of lots of Harvard-related posts by people who aren't part of the Davis community.
