I am addicted to the Italian sodas @ Mr. Crepe and I want to make my own. Any idea where I can buy some Torani syrups around here? I have checked some grocery stores and no dice. Thanks!
I tried that already, thanks. It listed Shaws and Stop & Shop locally in which I checked both...neither had them. It costs as much for shipping as the product itself so I am avoiding buying online.
They do have them, but only vanilla, sugar free vanilla, and sugar free hazelnut at the shaws in Porter.
You could try to make your own flavored simple syrups (check recipes online). I've made a few infused with spices and they are always tasty. No clue about doing them fruity or the such but I'm sure it's possible.
If you don't mind bulk purchasing, Amazon is cheaper than Shaws and has free shipping (AND, if you select the "subscription" for groceries you save another 15% and you can cancel the subscription before the next shipment comes). http://www.amazon.com/s/qid=1237749796/ref=sr_nr_p_76_1?ie=UTF8&rs=16310101&keywords=Torani&bbn=16310211&rnid=1249144011&rh=i%3Aaps%2Ck%3ATorani%2Ci%3Agrocery%2Cn%3A16310101%2Cn%3A!16310211%2Cp_4%3ATorani%2Cp_76%3A1-
Starbucks sometimes has them but usually seasonal flavors.
I buy them from amazon.com , since I have a free shipping arrangement with them. It's about $16 for a box of three bottles of one flavor, and that's eligible for Prime shipping, so it's probably also eligible for their "free shipping on orders over $25" arrangement.
I got some vanilla Torani syrup (on sale, even) last week at the Star Market on Beacon St., so they are not entirely Toraniless. I don't recall many other flavors though.
Whole Foods has several flavors of a different but equivalent brand of syrup.
I thought I saw a couple of those at Foodmaster, Broadway at Route 16. Go to the ice cream area and look around eye level, where they keep the drink mixes...
