Has anyone taken Water Aerobics at the Kennedy School? If so can you provide a review, also do you know if people wear t shirts in the pool? I have looked in the Swimming Tag.

If anyone else has any suggestions of where I can take water aerobics I'd love to hear them.

The Cambridge Center for Adult Education has swimming classes! The new term begins on Monday, so there's still time to sign up! http://www.ccae.org

The Cambridge Center for Adult Education does water aerobics classes as well (and they're a lot of fun), but I'm really looking forward to seeing what other people have to say, because I'd like to find somewhere that has classes more than once a week.

I used to lifeguard during water aerobics at the Somerville YMCA. (It was almost 10 years ago so check). Everyone always seemed to be having such a good time that I wanted to jump in and join.

The Boston Sports Center near Wellington has water aerobics. I don't know if that's too far for you, but I leave that to you to figure out:)

I took water aerobics at Kennedy school on Saturday mornings last spring. It was a fun class, although not very strenuous. I like water aerobics in general because it's pretty social exercise. The class was also quite small, and the demographics were about 50:50 old ladies:twenty-thirtysomething women. In general, a good time, but if you have more specific questions I can answer them.

Most land aerobics, such as hamstring curls or outer thigh lifts, can be done in both shallow and deep water. Your tempo can increase as you gain experience with exercising in the water.
