It sounds like there is a lot of neutral, a lot of negative, and a lot of positive (though "better than traffic noise" is not exactly a stellar endorsement of buskers). It sounds like there is some room for improvement and increased variety in the music that we are confronted with in the square.

I picked up two CDs by the Minneapolis band A Night In The Box when they did a 4-day residency of the Harvard Square pit, so I'd have to say yes.
