A friend is putting this on with Somerville Local First.  sounds fun to me. I think I am in.

Come to Davis Square from 5:00-7:00 and participate in our Make the Shift Scavenger Hunt!

You'll have to find some hidden facts about Local Independents in 5 different Davis Square shops. In each shop, we'll offer you an inspired creation from a Davis Square foodie.

Find all 5 clues and you can enter a chance to win $25 gift certificates to ALL the participating businesses....

So, the food sellers and restaurants listed in the pairings going to be providing the noshes at the stores listed in the pairings? Is that how it works? I might do this tonight if my date wants to have dinner somewhere in the Square.

Also, why is the Facebook page not open to public viewing? Doesn't that sort of defeat the purpose of promoting an event to the pubic?
