davis_squareHi all! I'm brand new here (moved on Wednesday from Seattle) and I live in between Porter and Davis Square. What are some cool places to check out. Stores, restaurants, coffee shops, anything really. I'm a vegetarian, so any good veggie restaurant suggestions would be appreciated too. Of course places in Cambridge or near the Longwood Medical area are good too.

Club Passim in Harvard Sq. serves great vegetarian meals; you also might find interesting ethnic restaurants w/ veggie selections in the Porter Exchange; also, I highly recommend The Middle East (you can get dinner AND see a concert all at the same place).
Boston's music scene is hopping, so no matter what style you're into, you can usually find 2-4 concerts per month to attend in any genre.
Btw, noticed in your profile that your birthday is April 11th...as is mine.
