Best Bloody Mary

Where is the best place to get a bloody mary in Davis Square?   I prefer them made from V8 or tomato juice and not from bloody mary mixer.  I also like them served with celery.  Any ideas?   Something in close (walking) proximity to Somerville Theatre is preferred.  I have a movie to catch!

Google recommends Gargoyles, but their bar doesn't open in time.

Johnny D's is very close, and is "the brunch place" according to my group of friends. I don't like bloody marys (maries?) personally, but that would be my best guess for you.

I should add that I've had a bloody mary at Johnny D's before and found it to be rather bland with too much ice.

The Bloody Mary at Orleans isn't bad, but not super great, either. I don't think they use celery, but you could ask. When I have them there, I usually add a little Tabasco. Ask for one in a pint glass with light ice.

Not sure of your definition of walking distance, but the best Bloody Mary I've had in a long time was at Highland Kitchen, up near the corner of Central St. I don't think they open until 5 pm on Saturday, though. But go for brunch tomorrow!

The best place I know of is the East Coast Grill because they have a "bloody mary bar" with about a million things at it and their bloody maries are damned amazing, but they are in Inman Square alas.

This is pretty far from Davis, but the Precinct in Union Square makes an outstanding Bloody, and I like to consider myself something of a connoisseur. Habanero-infused vodka ftw!

Just to update... I ended up settling on Burren. The bloody mary was definitely from a prepackaged bottle of mix, but it was quite tasty, and the bartender added what was for me, the perfect amount of black pepper. The
'piece' of celery wasn't more than a couple inches long and was more yellow than green. Pretty sad.

Thanks for all the recommendations, I guess I'll try rosebud next time.
