free charcoal grill
Apr. 18th, 2009 04:09 pmI have a functional Weber One-Touch Platinum grill out in front of 58 Pearson Ave (the corner of Pearson and Kidder). It's an 18-inch Weber charcoal grill, fully functional with the nice Weber ash-catcher and a hook for the lid and three hooks for BBQ utensils.
It's also free. Please take it.
UPDATE: the grill has been claimed.
It is, however, mildly broken. It used to half a built-in shelf to hold things. That shelf is gone, the victom of a window falling on it. Several other things have fallen on this grill over the years. Two apartments ago, a piece of lawn furniture blew up a hill and hit it. One apartment ago, a wind chime from two houses aweay fell on it. In my current place, a nieghbor's storm window fell on it and broke off the built-in shelf. I have painted over all the dings from the furniture and wind chime incidents, but the shelf is still broken.
Any rumors that this grill was cursed to attract falling objects because it was used to slow-cook the sacred leg of lamb from the tomb of Pharaoh Amenhotep IV are pure fiction.
