Lucubro and Malice in Leatherland on Sept.16th

For fans of harder music (read: gothic-tinged metal!), Metrowest-based band Lucubro(http://www.lucubro.com) will be the headliners at the September edition of "Dark Sky".

If you haven't heard, this is their LAST concert as a band, after 3 1/2 or so years together - and, consequently, your last chance to see them perform live as a unit.

Admission: only $6 (if you can't afford that, you need to start panhandling!)

Hey, and I'm not being cute,...are 'Malice in Leatherland' and 'Teenage Hooker Factory' movies or bands?

I too hate weeknight dayjob bedtimes!

Will the Teenage Hookers be giving people weeknight dayjobs?

i'm confused. How is skybar these days? I havent been in years. I used to like that place a whole bunch.

Skybar just had a makeover this summer, complete with a brand new stage. It is wondrous! Might even give some of those "cambridge-based venues" a run for their money ;)

Teenage Hooker Factory won't be able to be on this bill, unfortunately, so another band, yet to be determined, will take their place.

who else is worthy to open this show? Maybe you could get the "Merrimack Valley"'s most prestigious "costume-pretensious-vampire-clown-makeup" band...i think they're called "Velvet Ruffled Pants vest."

Or the "Cape and the Islands"' premier "chest pooping go-go" band. they're called "poop on your chest long time."

seriously, good luck. sounds like a fun time, even without Teenage Hooker Factory. By the way, I think I had the play dough teenage hooker factory when i was a kid. either that or the Lost Boys play dough set with corey feldman and jason patrick molds.
