tall ladder needed

I'm wondering if anyone has a tall ladder that I could borrow for a relatively quick task. It would need to reach up near the mid- second story of a house and be free standing (not the leaning kind). I'd be able to give you some amount of money - whatever you find fair - though free would be nice too :) I would hopefully need it for less than an hour. 

Barring that, can I rent one somewhere?

You can rent ladders from home depot I'm pretty sure. There is one in somerville.

Taylor Rental, on the corner of Washington Street and McGrath. I looked into renting a ladder from them a few years back. I remember the prices being reasonable.
