i need to board a cat somewhere for the weekend, anyone got recommendations for (or warnings against) a local facility ?

I've found my cats are much happier staying at home, so I use Stinky's pet-sitting service: http://www.stinkyskittens-doggiestoo.com/services.html.

It's really reasonable, super-convenient, and my kittens love it. Of course, you have to be comfortable with someone you've only met once coming into your home while you're gone, so that may not work for you. In my case, knowing that the sitter would be insured and bonded helped a lot. They try to give you the same sitter for repeat visits as well.

I thought about suggesting having a friend come by and take care of the cat, actually, but realized that if it's just a weekend there is probably a reason the cat can't stay home. Construction, for example.
