What needs to be cleaned up in Ward Six (aka Davis Square)???

Saturday, May 9th, from 10am - 12 noon, we will be gathering in the center of Davis Square for the City's annual spring clean up. Alderman Rebekah Gewirtz and I will be coordinating the Ward Six clean up.

We need your help in two ways:

First, if you know of areas in our neighborhood that are full of litter or need a good clean up, please email or call me. We know there are a couple of places around the T station that need attention. But what about other areas? Email or phone me if you have any locations we can clean up.

Second, if you have an hour or two on Saturday, please come on out to Davis Square to help with the spring clean up. We will have gloves, tools, bags, t-shirts and refreshments! You bring your friends, family, kids and neighbors and join in this great community event!

If you can only be there a half-hour or an hour, it will help. Hope to see you there.

The plaza in the center of Davis Square in front of J.P.Licks. Rebekah Gewirtz and I, Paul Bockelman, will be set up at a picnic table with a big box of shirts, gloves, and coffee. It is TOMORROW!
