Protest/Vigil for Troy Davis on Tuesday, May 19

Amnesty International has declared Tuesday, May 19, an international day of action for Troy Davis, a man who has been on death row in Georgia for many years for a crime he may not have committed. There is no physical evidence linking him to the crime, and several witnesses have recanted their testimony. Amnesty International's Northeast Regional Office will be holding a protest to support Troy Davis on Tuesday, May 19, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in Davis Square, across from the Somerville Theatre.
