Dentist in Davis Square Area?

Can anyone recommend a good dentist in the Davis Square area? I am also willing to go anywhere in Somerville, Arlington, and Cambridge.

I have been going to Gentle Dental but they do not accept my new insurance and I would like to find a regular dentist.

Bonus points if you know that the dentist accepts Harvard Pilgrim insurance.

I go to Davis square dental, on Holland St just as you're coming out of Davis (small grey building on the right).

I go here as well, and I give them two thumbs up. They accept my slightly more obscure insurance (Cigna) so you are probably all set with Harvard Pilg.

I go there too. They have their award as "best dentist" according to somebody or other local posted in their window.

ah, glad to see this thread... i've been meaning to get a dentist in the area for a while (i'm tired of driving to the south shore to go to the dentist i had when i was a kid). since this is about a 2 minute walk from my house, my teeth will now finally get the cleaning they deserve.
i'll be sure to tell them that you all recommended him - maybe you'll get a free filling or something.

Dr. Peter Macdonald in Harvard Sq. is *excellent*, as are his hygienists.

Dental Arts across the street from Brooks is the greatest.
One Friday afternoon, when I had no regular dentist, one of my back molars exploded, and oh mama, did that hurt. I called Davis Sq. Dental, who had no interest in seeing me. The Dental Artists told me to come in and someone would see me, although it might take awhile. I was seen within the hour. They took great care of me, and I now have a regular dentist.
