On the curb of 48 Hancock (in Somerville) tonight:

-a white Ikea wardrobe with side shelves
-a short desk on wheels with side shelves
-a tall desk with drawers on the side and cabinets/cubbyholes/shelves above, in a partly disassembled state

What isn't taken will get picked up by the trash tomorrow.

...

Because Goodwill is so far away.

I lived at 51 Hancock. When I moved, I left nothing on the curb. I took it all to Goodwill. It's not like it's far away or hard to get to. It's like 10 blocks away.

But you'd rather trash it than donate it. That's awesome.

what was the point of this comment? Did writing it make you feel better? I think it's very nice of the op to post here. Thank you op.

It seems to me that you are free to bring the items to Goodwill from the curb yourself.

Phew, I'm so glad you posted that! At least we know now that you are the nicest, bestest, most thoughtful and caring kid in the room... unlike the OP who is a meanie meanie poopy pants for giving away their old stuff to people on the internet, sheesh.
