I've worked (and still work) at Hollywood Express for the past four years, in front and behind the curtain, and here's the skinny;
The Porter Square store (between harvard & porter but closer to porter) has the most titles (and continues to get more titles the others stores dont have), its the flagship store. The Central Square store has more of an arty/foreign bend, and its two floors. The Davis Square location is the newest store, and has more titles on dvd than the other four stores (like every single in-print Criterion Collection dvd and just about every Superbit title.) Dont let its size fool you; its two floors as well. The Twin City Plaza is the most mainstream, specializing in action/comedy, and has the largest selection of video games.
And just a plug; we're having the seasonal sidewalk sale this coming saturday (October 2nd) in front of the Davis Square store from 10am-5pm ish. Dvd's for $8 each or 3 for $20, vhs for $3 each or 4 for $10. No we're not going out of business, yes all the product works. They're just previously viewed titles that are extra copies that we pulled directly from our rental shelves so we can make room for more product.
