Does anyone have a recommendation for house painters (I only need interior work) in the area? The tagged posts are a bit dated and I haven't learned much from yelp/kudzu etc.

We've been pleased with the quality of work, cost and friendliness of New Generation Painters out of Peabody on our interior house work in Somerville. They were recommended by a relative who used them for interior and exterior house work and I only recently found out that they do large commercial jobs as well. We worked with Mario - (978)535-0600.

We can HIGHLY recommend Yani Batteau for interior painting. She is finishing several rooms for us today. She is meticulous and, although she has a crew to keep the job moving along, she is on site working side by side every day. She was also helpful to us in choosing colors. Her prices were reasonable and she knew to clean up at the end of each day so we could continue on with our lives. AND she lives in our neighborhood. Very high recommendation for her.
