As you may know from anomie666's post last week, he and I are part of a team doing the Jimmy Fund Marathon Walk next month. I'm trying to get into full-on training mode, but I don't really enjoy long walks by myself. As it so happens, I created davis_ramblers a few years ago for just this purpose, and it's (finally! :) been getting some use over the past month, with excellent results.

It's a place to organize and meet up with folks for walks, runs, and the like. (Note that anomie666 has a tendency to post friends-only, so you do need to join the community to see his entries.) I just posted about walking tonight.

I'm also interested in finding people who might be able to walk in the morning or otherwise during the day.

i'm home on maternity leave for the next month or so, so i could do morning or afternoon walks on Monday, Thursday or Friday, if you don't mind having a sleeping, small baby in tow...

I'm interested in doing some more walking. Yesterday I walked to Arlington Center and back, today to Harvard Square and back. No running for me, sorry.

In this case, I just meant in the range before 11am, but I'm also willing to try for very early if somebody else is proactive about it.

I walk very fast. I may be game. My favorite time is around 5AM.
