Can anyone advise where a cheap place is to get a buzz cut somewhere in Sombridge area.  I am at the point where I'm getting a 1/2 and I'd like to do it like once a month or so.  Since it takes 5 minutes I think it should be less expensive than the normal haircut I've been getting (14+tip) but that doesn't seem to be happening in their pricing structure.  I haven't been successful at doing it myself in the past-it never seems to come off easy like it does at the hair place.

You want a barber shop, there's Alibrandi's on Holland and some place called Phil's Fast Cuts or something like that on Mass Ave near Arlington.

You're probably still going to pay for a full haircut, though, there's a reason the hair place can do it better than you can at home.

Fast Phil's, 2530 Massachusetts Ave. All the guys walk out of there with a respectable-looking Army issue cut, which is I presume what you want.

No place does "cheap buzz cuts". They charge them as men's cuts, regardless of time spent on it. I invested in my own clippers for like $25/30. Practice makes perfect! :-)

Fast Phil's is cheap. 10$ for a hair cut. I think that's cheap.

Ann-marie's on Holland should take care of you for $10+tip. Or if this will be an ongoing thing, you would probably want to consider investing a buzzer and doing it yourself.

Go to Ann Maries, its right across from Au Bon Pon (sp?).

$10. You can tip a little cheaper for a buzz too so I would put you in the $12 range, save a few bucks at least.

Invest in a pair of clippers and ask a friend to do it for you. Or just use a wall mirror & handheld mirror (so you can see the back), buzz it yourself, and touch up the missed spots after you shower. It does take a bit of practice, but everyone I know who has this hairstyle does it this way; it just makes the most sense in the longrun.

Utterly useless suggestion: Flowbee!

Cannot you just shave it off completely?

That should be pretty easy.

Now tagged "hair", though I don't recall this particular question ever coming up before.
