davis_squareBall Square Fine Wines & Liquors is having a free wine/beer/liquor tasting today until 6pm. They're at 716 Broadway in Ball Square. Fortunately I wandered out of the apartment in time to not miss it. My favorite was the very tasty Woodford Reserve bourbon.

Date: 2004-10-02 06:02 pm (UTC)While back in Kentucky for a wedding a few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of taking a tour of the Woodford Reserve small-batch distillery. I would recommend highly to any bourbon fans to take a tour of any of the bourbon distilleries in that area (Maker's Mark also has a wonderful tour)
Some other very good small-batch bourbons include Booker's and Basil Hayden's.
