Wallet found on College/Morrison crosswalk tonight, 8 PM

FINDED (by me): One small brown leather wallet in the gutter of the Morrison Avenue/College Ave crosswalk, right in front of the West Somerville Library. Spotted it around 8:00 this evening.

INSIDED (left by someone): Twelve dollars in cash but no cards, identification or anything else, except:

STICKED (on the wallet): A puffy sticker of a cartoon character.

The size of the wallet, cartoon sticker and lack of anything else inside leads me to believe that it belongs to a young'un who is probably missing their twelve dollars. (My first thought was that it may have been emptied and left by a thief, but the cash is still there.)

So if you have a kid who lost a wallet on College Avenue or know of a kid who lost a wallet on College Avenue or if you yourself just liked carrying around a wallet with a cartoon sticker and a little cash and you lost it on College Avenue, please email spatula (at) spatch.net and tell me which cartoon character is on the sticker.

(No, you don't get three guesses. Let the kid have a chance of getting their wallet back!)
