Yard Sale to benefit OPENAIR Circus

davis_squarePlease join us on Saturday, September 12 for a yard-sale fundraiser benefiting the OPENAIR Circus. Founded in Somerville 24 years ago, the OPENAIR Circus is a non-profit organization offering childrens' summer and after school classes as well as workshops and performance opportunities to people of all ages - you may have seen the circus teaching stilting at Art Beat or performing in the Honk! parade.
The yard sale will be held in Hodgkins Park on Holland St from 8:30am-6pm on September 12.
You can also help support the circus by bringing unwanted items in good condition from your attics, garages, basements...or that you found on the curb. Good items to donate include bikes, books, knickknacks, tables, chairs, electronics, CDs, small furniture, small appliances (microwaves, toasters, dvd players), kitchen and household goods, clean rugs, etc... If you bring clothes, please bring them on a plastic hanger so they can be hung up. Please do not bring plastic kiddy pools or anything so heavy that more than two people are needed to lift or move it.
If you would like to donate an item for the circus to sell, you can bring it to the park on the morning of the 12th, or contact Davida (sivahc [at] comcast.net) or Victoria (vpariswolfson [at] yahoo.com). After the yard sale, all remaining items will be donated to Goodwill.
