Does anyone use or know of a traveling vet that will come to Somerville?

UPDATE: Hired Harbor Vets and absolutely love them! I have 2 kids and when they (yes, both doctors) came, there was a great vibe and they included my girls in everything! (well, except the shot giving.)

I've used and liked Dr. Oswald: http://www.headtotailvet.com/. Her website doesn't list Somerville as an area she covers, but maybe you could ask...?

It is *so* much better having our cat checked out at home instead of after a car ride followed by waiting in a room full of other animals and having her totally freaked, and take a lot less time out of my day, too.

At Home Veterinary (http://www.athomevet.net/) is really good. The vet is really kind and competent, and has an obvious love for animals.

This was exactly the person I was searching for! the longer story is that we used to have cats several years ago, but couldn't remember the vet's name. Thanks so much! He IS super nice!

Do you live in Somerville? Last I knew, he charged $10/visit to come out here. (despite the fact that he went to Tufts!)

We also much prefer home visits, especially since we don't have a car and also have 2 young kids.
