Hi guys—Good news w/ the Globe's Somerville "Your Town" site, boston.com/somerville: As of earlier this month, we're running a weekly column by yours truly, former correspondent for the City Weekly section (R.I.P.). Some Davis stories, some farther afield. The fantastic and hard-working Towns Correspondent, Travis, continues to be on the case as well. Ideas always welcome. Emails:

Could someone please fix the "THINGS TO DO IN SOMERVILLE" section so that the things it lists are actually in Somerville? Or at least near Somerville? Thanks.

Enough interesting events happen in Somerville that I don't understand why the Globe needs to pretend that Copley Square is part of our city.

If you click on "Upcoming Events," you can change it to "witin 0 miles" to only see events in Somerville. Their default seems to be within 4 miles of Somerville.

When I look at the page with Safari, 'UPCOMING EVENTS' isn't a clickable link.

Sorry, I clicked on "THINGS TO DO IN SOMERVILLE" to change to "within 0 miles."

Which I didn't realize until I tried it just now.

If you submit 0 miles, it changes the radius back to 1 mile, so you get some Sanders Theatre events mixed in. That's OK, but it should be the default.

when I clicked that link, it had some events (like HONK, and the Harvest Fest event at the Armory) mixed in the 4-mile radius offering. It's not a comprehensive list of Somerville events however, probably best to rely on local listings for that.

True, but I'm referring mainly to what's on the boston.com/somerville front page, before you click on any links. The events shown under "THINGS TO DO IN SOMERVILLE" are rarely in or near Somerville.
