Our kitty Toro didn't come home last night or all day today and we are worried SICK.  Please contact me if you see or hear of a big black male cat with double paws wandering around.  He's very friendly and wearing an orange collar, last seen near Glen Street (East Somerville.)  Thanks!!

Well I saw a cat that definitely fits that description with an orange collar and the double paws. I saw him this morning on my front porch he came up to meet me as I left for work so I gave him a cat treat. I'm such a sucker for a cute cat :P

But I live on Prichard Ave over near Ball Sq so I'm not sure how he could've gotten all the way over here? But I suppose it's possible. I'll definitely keep my eyes open and see if I can lure him up to the porch again tomorrow if I see him. Feel free to email me at my LJ and I'll send you my phone number.

I do hope it's your kitty and that I can manage to bring him inside for you.

oh my lord... I wouldn't put it past him to go all the way out there. We used to live nearby at the corner of Essex & Richdale, so maybe he found his way back. I'll private message you my number - thanks for keeping an eye out!

Good luck finding your cat! I just wanted to say that years ago, my neighbors w/ a black cat moved away, and the cat managed to travel from North Cambridge (near Frank's Steak House) back to his former home on our street in Davis Square.

I saw an all black cat wandering around near the bike bath intersection at willow ave on my walk home around 6:30pm yesterday. It worried me--now that I'm a new cat owner I worry about any cats wandering around far from a home. I wonder if its yours???

thanks for the update. We're going to go drive around that area and look for him. If anyone sees him and is so inclined, he responds to the sound of shaking kitty treats.
