If you were there, and remember which bands you saw, take a look and let me know if you're in any of these videos. [livejournal.com profile] kdsorceress is pretty obvious at the beginning of one of them, but other than that I'm not sure who else from [livejournal.com profile] davis_square is in these.

Sorry for the poor sound quality, especially on loud percussion. My camera's mic isn't that good.

The Brass Messengers, having just taught the audience how to dance the "traditional Minneapolis polka":

Chaotic Insurrection warms up, then plays a piece from the Spanish Civil War:

Ten more videos...

3 dancing hooping performers in red on the sidewalk and What Cheer? Brigade in the main plaza in the middle of Davis Square:

Chaotic Insurrection plays an Italian song, Amara Terra Mia, that they learned from another band at HONK! 2008:

AfroBrazil dancing with a 95 year old woman, at the plaza off Elm Street:

The Brass Messengers teach the audience another silly dance:

The Leftist Street Band, from New Hampshire:

(I think I used to see some of these same people following Granny D and playing, when she was running for US Senate and walking every street in New Hampshire...)

Himalayas with a message for Iran:

Himalayas break out the sax:

A shorter clip of AfroBrazil drumming:

One of my favorite visually, the Junkaroo Jumpers perform at sunset, in a lot on Highland:

A lone busker playing fiddle down in the Davis Square T stop:

... or see them all on this YouTube playlist.

Thanks for these. I wasn't able to attend this year, so it was great to hear/see!
