renting a parking spot for the winter

Hello D-square-ers,

I live a little far from the square - at the intersection of Central and Summer Street in Spring Hill.  I usually park on Central but with winter coming, I'm thinking about trying to rent a spot in a nearby lot.  

Anyone have any ideas or are renting a parking spot themselves?

There's an apartment building at that corner that has a lot that is on Central just next to where I park.  (It is the lot between Summer and Avon on Central).  Anyone know who owns this lot? It would be a great spot for me to rent if there is any availability.

You can search on Craig's List - under the Housing section, there's a parking/storage tag

I believe that lot belongs to the apartment building next to it. Don't the signs in the lot say parking for residents only?

I think I've seen a parking for rent sign on Highland, near the armory.

yeah I guess I am hoping that if they have any unrented spots or if someone sub-rents one...

Your best bet would probably be to ring a random doorbell in that building and ask whoever answers about who manages the parking lot.
