The Post-Meridian Radio Players present their annual tribute to the Golden Age of Radio with the music and comedy of “The Frank Cyrano Byfar Hour” and then explode into Orson Welles' infamous "War of the Worlds" radio play, adapted to follow events in Boston during the ”Martian invasion” - ending with a climactic battle of the Mob vs. the Martians!
A live foley team creates sound effects while actors recreate the old-time radio experience in front of microphones. Featuring Somerville's own Tom Champion and music by Emperor Norton's Stationary Marching Band ( http://www.ensmb.com/).
Four shows only!
