Date: 2009-11-12 10:50 pm (UTC)Clearly Johnny D's (or Green Tomato, or whichever business hosts the event) makes money off of hosting these events, which isn't in and of itself wrong, but it'd be nice to have a brown bag DARBI lunch sometime, or at least brown-bag-optional.
(PS: I tried to check their lunch menu online and can't find it. The other menus appear to be there.)

Date: 2009-11-13 03:31 pm (UTC)Also, I do like the idea of having brown-bag or potluck lunches at a non-restaurant venue. Perhaps you could find other interested people to help organize that. Which public places are you thinking of?
