$25 for $50 at Lyndell's

It's been a while since any Living Social deals were offered up in Davis, but Lyndell's for 50% off is back (sort of; last time it was $10 for $20).

It's an ideal time to be offering it, in my opinion; I don't know about anyone else, but I have parties almost every friday and saturday night in the next month, as well as a couple sunday afternoons and a Tuesday ;-) While I'm totally into making treats and things for potlucks, there just isn't that much time for me. And people do seem to like it when I show up with a couple things of their cookies ;-)

For those who haven't done these deals before, note that (unlike a gift certificate) you have to spend the whole amount in one purchase. So you don't get the 50% savings unless you have a $50 bakery purchase. Still a great deal if you need to buy a cake or three.

true. or if you're hosting something and want to get one of the platters...though I will likely use it to buy several pies, and one or two of those boxes of cookies (24 cookies for $12, if I recall), which are so handy to just drop on the food table at parties ;-)

Their pastries freeze well, too.

$50 is like, enough to buy almost 300 cookies. I have no idea what I will do with 300 cookies, but I like thinking about the possibilities it offers.
