Can anyone recommend a good physical therapist? Local is best, but anyone T-accessible would be fine. Preferably it would be somebody who has experience with arm and hand injuries (which I assume is going to be most physical therapists).

I was very happy with Ricardo Wong at Spaulding Medford (http://www.spauldingrehab.org/medford), on the 94 or 96 bus from Davis.

i would recommend an Occupational Therapist over a PT for arm & hand injuries. they are specifically trained in hand rehab, more than PTs are. or, even better, try to find a CHT (certified hand therapist), which can be either an OT or a PT (but is usually an OT).

here are links for two i found in cambridge:

both work at Mt. Auburn Hospital.

I saw Sarah H at Mt Auburn Physical Therapy for my wrist problems, and was really happy with her. Apparently all the PTs at that practice are really good. A friend who saw another PT (also for wrist issues) at that practice recommended them to me. It's in Watertown, and accessible from the #71 (picks up in Harvard), and there are some good Armenian grocery stores/bakeries within a block of the place (I always left slop time for in case I missed a bus or they were off schedule).
