Snow emergency mailings

Is the snow emergency email system the same as last year? The reason I ask is because I referred a friend to the link on the city website to sign up for email notifications, and it says that the "service has been discontinued" and that you need to sign up for the CTY Connect service.

I believe it's the same as last year in that last year they were also using COnnect CTY.

Extremely tangential question: what's the weather in Davis like right now? I am asking only because the NWS is inexplicably listing 8.2 inches of snowfall in Winchester (and it's been pouring downtown all day).

When I was in the Square an hour or so ago, it appeared to be covered with suds. Did you see that? Any idea what it was?

There was snowfall this morning, before it turned to rain. Well, slushfall, anyway. Surprisingly much. It was grody. So there might well have been snowfall in Winchester before, say, 9am.
