did you see my accident? 12/4 cameron ave/mass ave

Hi All,
This may be a long shot, but I'm looking for anyone that might have seen me get rear ended on 12/4 at 8:45am on mass ave, at the intersection of cameron ave. My car is a silver impreza. Just hoping there might have been a witness, because the other guy's insurance is being shady.

Didn't see you, but if you were rear-ended, you're in a good spot. If you haven't filed a police report, do so ASAP. And if you do end up getting an insurance surcharge for some strange reason, appeal it. It may take 2 years to resolve but you usually win if the case is at all clear. You then get back all the additional premiums you have been paying and your record is cleared.

I say this all from unfortunate experience of not filing a police report based on bad (or possibly misleading) advice from an insurance adjuster.

thanks for the advice. i'm not too worried about my insurance going up, but rather getting the other driver's insurance company to pay up :)

Far too late for this advice to apply to your accident, but:

Take pictures of the accident scene. For a long time, we left a disposable camera in the glove compartment for just this purpose; now a cell phone will do. If there's any damage, do not move either car until a cop shows up, no matter how much honking happens.

maru_mari and I saw a woman inspecting rear-end damage on a parked gray car on Cameron Ave around then. That wasn't you, was it? (We didn't see the accident, so I imagine that's not useful, but I'm curious.)

might have been me, but the collision was on mass ave, and we were pulled over on mass ave. just hoping there may have been someone out there who saw it happen, since the other guy's insurance is being shady.

ugh, good luck- I got rear ended by a new hampshire dude who had zero insurance.

Isn't that why we have to buy uninsured motorist coverage? Did your insurance company give you trouble?
