Calendar donation?

Due to a mix up at Zazzle.com, I ended up with about 30 calendars (for 2010) for some dog-related business out of state. Zazzle sent out my real order, and told me to keep the calendars and I'd like to find an organization, elderly housing or something that might want them. They're not bad, but I don't need 30 calendars of dogs I don't know. I'd like to not drop off 30 individually. Any ideas?

i would call some local shelters, see if they want to have them to give them out to people that donate money or adopt animals

thanks, although they calendars have the name of a business out of state, so I think that might be confusing. I hope the other suggestions here for elderly housing pan out but if not I'll check them out.

I don't have anything to add. I just wanted to say that I fully endorse the idea of giving the calendars to an assisted living place, or equivalent. I think that's a great idea.

The nearest assisted living place (who would probably love them) is the VNA Assisted Living on the east side of Lowell Street, just south of the bridge.

Another place that would probably love them is the Jeanne Jugan Little Sisters of the Poor residence at 186 Highland Ave.
They are a charitable catholic organization and support many seniors in various stages of living situations on their spread - assisted living, nursing home, maybe even individual apartments. I think there's at least a hundred seniors living there but don't know for sure. But I bet they'd like them in their rooms.
