Marino's replacement in Teele is open, and according to the menu I picked up it can be reached at 617-718-9900.

I don't remember what Marino's had on the menu -- I only had their pizza.

Venus has pizza, salad, "dinners", pasta, wraps, calzones, subs, burgers, appetizers, and desserts.

Marino's was super-generic. Their menu looked like they hadn't even written it, but had just selected the "pizza place" menu at the print shop.

I stopped in yesterday and Venus is mostly the same-old, but they also have shwarma, kebobs, felafel, etc. Since those aren't what they're focusing on, I'm assuming they won't be any good, but I maintain a bit of cautious optimism and will at some point at least try the felafel.

I went last night and tried both the lamb shawarma roll up and the chicken shawarma roll up. They were both tasty enough, but at 6.99 each I think they were overpriced -- then again I find most food in boston/somerville to be overpriced.

No, it's true. Although as far as I can tell the place is generic enough that if you don't live close enough to know about it already, there's probably no reason for you to care (because there is already an identical pizza place much closer to your house).

Not much on Yelp about it yet. The one review said they were still getting adjusted to their new pizza ovens. I'd be curious to hear what someone here has experienced.
