$100 reward: thin gold ring with small diamond

This is kind of a long shot, but...

My wife lost a small diamond ring this evening in Davis, either at the BSC or CVS or Dave's Fresh Pasta. We went by all those places and they haven't turned it up, but if you found a very thin hammered gold ring with a rough diamond on it, drop me a line. We'll give you a hundred bucks and our sincere thanks.

Does she remember taking it off at any time? Do you think it just slid off her finger? I'm sure you already checked all the pockets/folds in her clothes. Once I thought I had lost a really nice ring, but found it a week later in the cuffs of the pants I had been wearing!

Took it off at the gym before working out, put it in her purse next to her phone... we checked all the spots she'd paused to pull the phone out but I'm guessing it fell out in the snow and is long gone by now.

as the snow melts, check back to those locations. a friend lost her ring near my house one winter, and at the sign of the first thaw after that snow, sure enough...there was her ring on the sidewalk under a shrub!
