Tiles Project!

Hey guys!

Hope you all are doing well!  I've been quiet around here lately but I'm here!  I've just been swamped under school/work.

Just to keep you updated (because you all have been *so* fabulous), right now I'm working on an article on the temporary new Tom Champion (a.k.a. Jackie Rossetti).  I'm talking to Tom tomorrow and Jackie Friday morning.  I know how much you all love Tom! :)

After that article is done next week, I have a tight deadline for a new article.  I'm thinking I want to make this one about the Davis Square Tiles Project.  Any DSLJers do a tile for the city when you were younger?  Or know someone who did? Or have a cool angle/information on it?  I'm all ears!!!

Are you aware of The Davis Square Tile Project (http://davissquaretilesproject.com/davis-square-tiles-project)? They've done a lot of this legwork.

Nonetheless, given that the tiles project has done so much work, it'd be difficult to cover the tiles wholly (or, imho, responsibly) without dropping them a line and getting their take. There may be some way your journalistic work could integrate with the project even - perhaps they'd appreciate having someone do some in-depth interviews with some of the tile-makers, etc.
