so i need to find another room-mate. the current one is looking for another place because he is having trouble affording this one now. neither one of us has set a date, but i will be looking for someone to move in tentatively for SEPT 1st.

many of you have already seen my place. it is fully furnished (except for the bedroom you'd be taking) and the lease is in my name (and will remain so). here are some details:

THE PLACE: 5 room, 1st floor apartment in a 2-family house located in Somerville near Teele Square and just a 15 minute walk from DAVIS SQ. (Redline). e.i.k, living room, office and 2 bedrooms (mine is located in a single, upstairs room), 1 bathroom, washer/dryer, on-street pkg.

ABOUT ME: open-minded, 28-year old gothy girl with two cats. works full time, frequents manray/ceremony, likes artsy people/things.

YOU: must be 21+, working full-time and you must be cool (i.e. not close-minded, pretentious or conservative). kitties are okay (if they play well with others)....but no doggies (unfortunately). you also MUST be responsible (i.e. full-time, steady job), clean (or at least not a slob)

RENT: $600 a month PLUS utilities, which are especially high in the winter. gas heat/electric/water,etc per person average approximately $150-200 monthly. i also have a cable internet connection and digital cable TV...so if you plan to use either, you can split the cost with me (otherwise, i'll probably do away with the cable TV, at least). i will NEED first/last month's rent up front!

if you're interested, please respond immediately so we can discuss further details. or please just pass this info along if you know anyone that might be a good match!

Subject: Somerville Theatre Projectionists Win 2 year Contract

YOU ONLY GET WHAT YOU ARE ORGANIZED TO TAKE:
'Pissed Off Projectionists' Declare Victory Over Somerville Theatre

After having been locked-out for over ten weeks, projectionists at the Somerville Theatre have emerged victorious in their struggle for union recognition. The management has agreed to voluntarily recognize the union, sign a fair contract, and pay full back wages to all locked-out employees. Although this was a modest struggle in and of itself, we see it as a significant victory for young, exploited and pissed off workers everywhere.

PROJECTIONISTS WIN A LIVING WAGE!
