Doner and gyros are all pretty similar (as is shawarma). Eggplant is also a staple of both cuisines.

There's more allspice in Turkish food, which may be a bug or a feature for you (I have a friend who hates allspice, but I adore it).

I also think that Turkish borek are better than Greek boureki (phyllo-dough pies with savory fillings). On the other hand, spanakopita.
