a hair question

hi friends,

i need to get a packet of hair bleach (not boxed dye). i already have tons of the developer, but i'm almost out of the powder and it won't be enough to do my hair now that it's longer.

i used to go to sally's when i lived in quincy and it was right around the corner - the closest one to me now appears to be the one in somerville but i was just wondering if there might be a place closer that has it, around arlington/fresh pond.

Some Newbury Comics carry it even some drug stores now. I would check those out.

well, newbury comics carries hair dye (in fact, i was going to go get the dye there today) so they also sometimes carry bleach kits.

the problem is it's usually some manic panic bleaching kit which a.) doesn't work so well and b.) costs $$$ for what it is. but i'll report back, i haven't been there for such a purpose in a long time.

indeed, the newbury comics in fresh pond had plenty of colored dye, but no bleach packets, only a few kits. ($10-12 i believe.)

yup, i just looked it up on yelp and they say it's at 199. thanks, that's way easier (i get lost in somerville about as often as i do in JP which is to say...just about always heh) thanks!

newbury only has it as part of their kits; I've been working my way through a packet of it for the last year.

if you'll do the other way, down to Central, there's a pro hair supplies place (open to the public) across the street from The Middle East. they have it in several different strengths.

yes, that's what i feared. i really don't need the whole kit, plus the point is to spend $3, and just hopefully not spend more in gas in the process, heh.

in other news, i actually do spend a good chunk of my week in cambridgeport so i'll keep the other place in mind as well as their new address, thank you!
