The Ballad of Burd Janet seeks male extras for a B-roll shoot taking place in Medford on Saturday, 24 September. Call time is at 9am for a 9:30 shoot, and the shoot will conclude at noon. Extras should come
in black pants, white or light-colored button-down shirts, suspenders/bib overalls/vests, and Greek fisherman caps/newsboy caps/fedoras. No flipflops, sandals, or trendy/obviously late 20th century clothing. This is a non-paid/non union shoot, but we will feed you, you will get credit in the final cut, and you'll receive a
DVD copy of the film.

Yard Sales in Davis

What's the best way to advertise yard sales in the Davis area? Do people find that little to no advertising is necessary because of the amount of foot traffic that will inevitably walk by, anyway? I want to have one, soon, but I'm about a mile up Highland Avenue and I'm afraid that no one would find me if they were just out for a casual stroll.

I know you can go to some supermarkets to cash in your cans (at least some) but where do I go to redeem my deposit on bottles and whatever the stores won't take?
