Would anyone be interested in Roger Waters tickets for this Saturday @ the tweeter center? Three tickets for $85 each face value is $100 each.

I see people posting here looking for jobs sometimes so I thought I would post because we are looking for someone to come work for us!

Are you an apprentice plumber? Look here for a great job: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/trd/203216608.html

My fiance is very established in the boston area, primarily does rehabs and new construction and does no service work. He is a great guy to work for, the hours are 730-4. Check out the craigslist ad and shoot an email if interested :)

If anyone is seeking to be rid of an old futon in reasonably good condition (full size), I'm in the scavenger market. It's for my futon couch, since the old one has more or less been destroyed by The Siamese Menace. I'd pay you for delivery, too, as I don't have a car.

If you've got one you don't want anymore, I'd love to hear from you: moonstonewater at yahoo dot com.

Thanks! :-)

Hi there:

I was wondering if anyone here has been to El Guapo in Ball Square. If so, what's your opinion?

Thanks!

WHAT: A Not So Silent Night with silent films & score by Cul de Sac, Bright and DJ C
WHEN: This Friday evening, Sept. 8th, 8-10:30pm (rain date Saturday, September 9, same times)
WHERE: Union Square Plaza, Somerville

Yet another great ArtsUnion event is happening this Friday. Local improv psychedelic instrumentalists of international acclaim Cul De Sac perform their aural interpretation of two often overlooked, yet historically significant silent films.

In "Mascot" (1934), Polish/Russian Waldyslaw Starewicz, pioneer of stop-motion animation, follows a stuffed puppy through Paris in this dense and imaginative children's tale.
In "The Fall of the House of Usher" (1928), Americans James Watson and Melville Webber adapt Edgar Allen Poe's story in a hallucinatory fashion. Informed by European filmmakers, most notably the German expressionists, this film style features sharp contrasts, exaggerated shadows, and oblique angled sets that heighten the psychological drama.

Also on the bill is a performance by Cul de Sac's likeminded label mates Bright, and BeatResearcher DJ C. This event is produced and illuminated by Todd Sargent. It all takes place amid the hustle and bustle of Union Square Plaza.
