What kinds of stuff: Mostly odd, bohemian, artsy/geeky stuff. Several random shelves, some large-sized women's clothing, knick knacks, liberal/geeky/artsy books, baskets, and such.
If you are in the Union Square/City Hall area of Somerville anyway, wander on over to Prospect Hill and see if there is anything in the Pile O' Free Stuff (POFS) that strikes your fancy...
When: All Friday long.
Where: 22 Prospect Hill Ave, Somerville
Yellow house two down from the corner of Prospect Hill and Munroe Street, just around the corner from the castle/tower/monument.
The free stuff is on the front walkway and front steps.
How to get here: Oh, Geez, the streets are one way in all the wrong directions, so if you are driving a car or bike, consult a map before you end up going in circles :-)
From Union Square heading West, go up Stone Street (after the Brazilian grocery store), which turns into Prospect Hill Ave. Go one house down from the intersection at the top of the hill.
From Highland Ave/City Hall, go East towards Boston, but stay to the right instead of going onto the McGrath overpass and take a right onto Prospect Hill Ave after the gas station, and go almost all the way to the top of the hill.
Why?: Because you are curious! And maybe because you are looking for something useful to add to your life! And, maybe because you want to save me from lugging all this cool stuff to Goodwill before I have to move next week. :-)

Oh, and I'm not going to "save" things for people. Sorry. I tried that with Freecycle already, and had too many no shows. So it's first come first serve this time. :-)
