I was wondering if anyone knew the copyright status of Mister Davis, the DARBI logo. The reason I ask was I was thinking about making a few Somerville-themed t-shirts as the weather heats up and it would be a good design element. Alternatively I'd love to hear about any other somerville merch that might be kicking around online.

The shop D Squared on Highland actually sells shirts with "Mr. Davis" on them. I'm not sure if they still have them, I actually bought one last springtime, but it's worth checking out.

My two favorite Somerville shirts - Somerville Is For Lovers which always draws comments when I wear it (and then I get to plug the Somerville Homeless Coalition), and the awesomely designed Somerville squares T shirt that a friend scored for me - I think the Young Somerville group that advises the mayor designed it. Both these shirts should be more widely available, I wonder why they aren't.

yeah, the somerville squares one is really awesome. friends of our were given a pair when they got married at a city hall in somerville a few weeks ago.
