I think the moment that I lost my wallet tonight was jumping over a snowbank in the crosswalk between the store24 and the T entrance.  I imagine that most of what is worth anything has been stolen, but a random assortment of cards (LSC movie card, lady grace extra value card, wainwright visa debit card) were easy to find stuck to the ground.  So if you found a pink silk wallet on the ground tonight or any random wallet-contents in this area, please call me at 617-797-6995.  Seriously, you would make my day.

Good morning, campers.

Please note the following Connect CTY message going out citywide at 8:30 a.m:

Hello, this is Tom Champion calling from the City of Somerville with snow emergency information for Saturday, February 23rd. The City has lifted its snow emergency regulations effective 9 a.m. this morning. Residents parked in municipal or school lots during the snow emergency have a two-hour window in which to move their vehicles once the emergency ends – but today’s window has been extended by one additional hour. Cars still parked in municipal or school lots at 12 noon may be subject to ticketing and towing. Residents, landlords and business owners are required by city regulations to shovel their sidewalks but may not shovel snow into the street. For additional information, please call the city’s 311 constituent service line or visit the city's website at www.somervillema.gov. Thank you.

Last night after slurping down two delicious medium sized bud-lites over at Mike's pizza, my boyfriend wanted to go home. In an effort to tire me out and or change his mind, we bought some lottery tickets for the big bucks lottery and returned one movie. I still wanted more. I told him that I'd be happy to head over to my new favorite bar, solo, if he wanted to go home to watch the same ol' on CNN. So there it was. I knew I'd be welcomed by whom ever was tending the bar, offered a nice dirnky-poo and maybe some delicious bar snacks... However, when I skipped and slid on over there, up the steps and walkway, I noticed a hand written sign on the door and lights off. "Closed for renovations," the sign read... Hm. I guess it was just too good to be true. La Spina seems to be "Closed for Renovations." Where do I go now?
