Tom Champion and DSLJ in today's Globe City Weekly

On page six of today's Boston Globe City Weekly supplement: Champion logging off blogging experiment, by Peter DeMarco.

This is the second time I can recall seeing Davis Square LiveJournal mentioned in the Globe. The first was also an article about Tom, back in March.

The article has a big photo of Tom, brief quotes from leko and me, and more substantial quotes from Tom.

Free stuff on the curb in front of 66 Elmwood St. off Holland Ave.

-13" Sony Trinitron Color TV (works fine).

-Drum Kit Carrying Case. I think this is meant to carry several snare drums stacked inside. It has a cover with a stap and handle.

-Headboard with bookshelf and two small cabinets. Meant to be used with an Ikea style platform bed.

(Harvard Street at 5 PM today)

Harvard street off of Powderhouse Square is pretty much impassable right now unless you have a really tall pickup truck. (One of the two cars in the picture was stuck.) It's flooded further down in Medford as well. So if you are planning to go to the Everett Mall or Assembly Square from Davis, you might want to pick a different route.

Just wanted to warn folks. It could be pretty dangerous coming off of the Powderhouse Circle without realizing this and having to turn around I think.
