Clothing Alterations?

 Does anybody out there know of a place that will hem your pants for you at a reasonable price? I have a few pairs of nice trousers for work that I can't wear out in this weather because they are too long and they will get destroyed walking in the snow. They are too long in general and just need to be taken up an inch or two, but I have no idea where to take them to get a nice job done.

Who do you trust in this area to do simple clothing alterations?

Couple of Free Events in our Hackerspace...

Tonight, Jimmie will be screening the first two episodes of Make:TV starting at 7:00pm.

and,

on Thursday, we'll be hosting the Boston Arduino Users Group starting at 7pm.

Both events are free and open to the public.

The Hackerspace is at 197a Elm Street, above the Subway Sandwich Shop (NOT down the alley, that's our model shop).

Tufts Film Series -- Free Films This Weekend

Tufts is back in session tomorrow and that means free movies this weekend. Here's the schedule:

Burn After Reading: Friday 9:30 pm, Sat. 7:00 pm, Sun. 8 pm

Snatch: Friday 7:00 pm and midnight, Sat. 9:30 pm

All movies are in Barnum 008 (used back entrance to the building).

Movies are free and it's okay for non-Tufts affiliated folks to go (they actually told me so -- tell 'em I sent you).
