It's a good week at Tufts...including Oscar winner "Slumdog Millionaire" during Easter weekend. Hurry though, because Tufts will pretty much wrap up their freebie movies by the end of this month.

Tufts Film Series will show "W." tonight and "Doubt" and "Slumdog Millionaire" next weekend.

The Romance Language Department has a double feature today with an Italian film at 3 pm and a French Film at 6:30 pm.

Other highlights:

* Tufts will show "Democracy in Dakar" with the filmmaker on Monday night.
* The Tufts German House shows "Comedian Harmonists" on Monday night as well.
* On Thursday, the Somerville Library shows "Mystic Pizza".
* Also on Thursday, the Romance Language Department shows "Mar Adentro" as part of the Spanish movie series.

I'll keep my eyes open for more screenings and let you know. I'm away next week, so I probably won't be doing an update. I will try to update the calendar when I can.

does anyone know anything about the converted church on college ave with the giant stone face sculpture? is it some sort of monastery? just curious.
